Exhibition in Kuopio

Just a quick heads up to welcome all of you to my exhibition in Kuopio Gallery G12 that will last until 26th of February! Having an exhibition in my hometown is like a warm blanket, so special and sweet, and familiar. Suddenly you don't have to think which street to take, which corner to turn, it's all clear. It is my first exhibition in my hometown, also good to have there since the theme I have is about the importance or the role of homes, what kind of homes we can build to ourselves. Welcome!

Sneak peek

The silence here is due to too much to do in too little time. I have wished for a long time that the day would have 48 hours so I could do everything I wanted to.. In these two weeks after the grand manifest at the République with two million people, I have been preparing myself for a trip to Finland and for an exhibition here,  

I have been to a lovely Sweden and Gothenburg to visit the Gothenburg Film Festival and preparing for a great Cartoon Exhibition, 

I have printed works for my own exhibition, searched for the right kind of papers, fabrics, fonts, colours, handwriting, objects, 

I have worried about funding and still do, not the most hilarious thing.. 

I have also made applications, keep your fingers crossed!

Wednesday I'm off to Finland, here's a sneak peek of the exhibition, which will have some new works and some from last year..

The events of the past days in Paris have been a bit too awful to think of.  So much chaos and sorrow. Really unbelievable, everything that happened. Tomorrow there is a manifest at Republique, maybe the whole city will join. See you there.

Kuopio alert

Just a heads up to my Kuopio exhibition which will be held from 7th of Feb till 26th of Feb 2015 in the Galleria G12.
Welcome! Further details will follow but if you have a chance to visit Kuopio then it will be my pleasure and honour.

I will concentrate on the concept of homes and finding them. On the roads that don't exist.
