Homes in B&W

I tested to do the same "Homes" series on B&W also, just to see the result if it would be compatible. I think the colour works better as you can see here (CLICK). Or what do you think?

Lavender forest

Here in France spring seems to be invading the places. Snow is far away from here. It has been raining for two days, maybe it will get more frosty, but I can feel the light coming more vivid. Here's the neighbour's lavender that I've been following with some lavender wands in my mind. This one doesn't seem to feel any winter. It reminds me of fur trees and pines of Finland. I can think this lavender has needles and feel more cozy. Waiting for the flowers and the scent.

New

Happy New Year to everyone. Finland was dark, a bit too dark to take a lot of photos, but I had some lucky days too. Like this one. Golden sun and fresh new snow. We went to see ice-swimmers and smoke saunas. I walked around this lake and after I remembered how the frost in my toes feels like and how snow sounds under my feet.

Hmm, I don't know what is the connection between these photos. A rock in the forest of South-Finland and some cute monkeys in Rio de Janeiro. Or are they monkeys actually? Well they were not scared at all anyway, just curious. Maybe it's a little attempt to so what and how is different in these two places.

14

Yesterday our village of Grez celebrated Santa Lucia. Swedish, Finnish, Swedish-Finnish, Iranian and French all together. So I wanted to dedicate this to the light. Here is the Lucia bringing the light, there was a procession all through the village. Other picture is from my home, where I'm going next week.
