Voilà, the first glimpse of our Le Projet Kairouan book we did in the residency of EU in Kairouan Tunisia in May 2015.

through there it flew

This morning I saw a huge hawk keeping the rain, garding and waiting. I had just woken up, so I had to look a long time before I realized what it was. Or what it was not. It sat on top of the house, I could clearly see it from the window. I thought I´d open it to watch closer bu then didn't want to scare it away.

In Finland it is forbidden to shoot swans. Once my sister´s husband shot one, accidentally. He notified the police about it.

It is quite difficult to photograph birds, unless they are in captivity. And if they are, they have lost a lot already. But for this series, I have two photos of two birds in a cage.
