I've been trying to talk about Finnish sayings here in France. There's a lot of them and they are good for every situation. Maybe they stayed on my mind while making this picture. A part of my subconscious makes images with me. Which is good. Inutile de pleurer quand le lait est déjà dans la terre. In French and English the sayings turn usually quite meaningless and silly and make me think do they even exist.
When I made this photo I was thinking other things. Signs of people and showing them in the scenery where they are not and do not belong to. But now it seems more clear.
Photo from two years ago, in the jungle of Rio de Janeiro. If you haven't been to a rainforest you should try, never have I seen as much growth as there. And this little jungle was "the garden of the local art school".
Cornflower in the colours of Finland and poppy turning light pink. I gathered these in the summer and now colours are slowly fading away.
I'm sure no-one can be as excited as me from this muddy weather in the forest. Or maybe some Finnish people can! So why not, some more photos from the forest that I'm living in the middle of. You would think after nine months all ideas were done here but today I felt many new things bubbling in my head and I wrote down page full of plans.. Well planned is half done right?
Today I gathered some objects from my house that I like to keep for some reason. They remind me of French scenery and the days outside, by the beach or at the vineyards. First one is pomegranate tea from a Turkish shop in Montargis, second I found at the brocante, garage sale, near our house, the rest I've had in the evenings, mmm! And the seashell from the south.
I met this dog in Marseille, it is so funny chubby dog I had to share this.
